With the growth of North American business and operations, the ZIWI team has recruited a wealth of new friendly faces to join in our mission of bringing joy and peace of mind to pets and their guardians all over the world. We would like to introduce you to each of our new employees below and tell you a little bit about them each and how they’ll be contributing towards ZIWI’s embarkation into the year ahead.

We are thrilled to have welcomed Mindy to the team this past January as our Operations Manager. She has spent the last 20 years working in the fashion industry with distribution, logistics, and product development. She is excited to be transitioned into the pet industry and welcomes the challenges and growth it will bring. Mindy entered the workforce upon graduation from Kansas State University with a BS in Apparel & Textile Marketing.

We welcomed Kathi to the team this January as our Key Account Manager, to strengthen the support and success of our brick & mortar retail partners. Kathi comes from 16 years of sales experience as a manufacturer rep and a key account manager and has also served as a Director of Development for the local Humane Society. She obtained her MBA from Saint Ambrose University.

Sydni came to ZIWI this January and was brought on as an eCommerce Administrator. Sydni directly contributes to the management of brand integrity and MAP across our online sales platforms. She has a BS in Marketing and Event Management from the University of Central Missouri and is excited to be working in this space after previously specializing in Healthcare IT, as she has a strong passion for animals and the outdoors.

Abbey was brought on as our social media specialist in January this year. She comes from marketing experience in tech, construction, and eCommerce. She graduated from Iowa State University with a BS in Public Relations. Abbey has been instrumental so far in the restructuring of our influencer programs and supplying retailers with top quality social assets and guidance.

Brendan joined us this past February as a Project & Compliance Manager where he has diligently set to work on our breadth of projects and licensures. He has spent the past five years working in project, regulation, and compliance management. Brendan received his BS in Sociology and a Minor in Conflict Management from Baker University. Brendan is excited to get to work on all of the upcoming ZIWI projects on the radar.

Jessica has joined the team as of early February and is working as the Marketing Manager, assisting in strategy and execution across all channels and platforms. She comes from the automotive industry in Hawaii, where she also graduated from the University of Hawaii. She will be completing her MBA this summer and is excited to put her skills to the test with ZIWI.

Johlea joined our team in February as an in-house graphic designer. She has been instrumental so far in whipping up print ads, display ads, social media assets, and jumping on quick turn arounds and last-minute projects. She comes from over five years of freelance experience where she specializes in advertising collateral and branding assets. Johlea has an Associates in Graphic Design and is currently pursuing her bachelors at Southern New Hampshire University.

Courtney is our most recent hire as of the end of March, and we are thrilled to welcome her as our new eCommerce Specialist. She will be working alongside the eCom team to ensure a best in class online sales presence. She is born and raised in Missouri and attended Missouri State University where she graduated with a BS in Marketing.
